What we collect
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the information you give us:
- your name, phone number and email address
- your suburb or town and details about the job, including any photos you attach
- technical details such as the page you came from, campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example UTM parameters or a Facebook click ID), your IP address and browser type
Why we collect it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry (including a text and email confirming we've received it), arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and carry out the work if you go ahead. We also use campaign tags to understand which advertising brings people to the site.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry, including any photos, is stored in the customer-relationship (CRM) system we use to manage quotes and jobs, and is sent to us by email and text. Our website and email providers process the information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
If you agree to marketing cookies, we may share a hashed (scrambled) version of your contact details with Meta (Facebook and Instagram) so it can measure whether our advertising led to your enquiry. Meta cannot read the original details from the hash. See Meta's data policy for how it handles this data.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising, including page views, contact clicks and quote requests. You can limit this through your browser settings, an ad blocker, or your Facebook ad preferences.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and to meet our record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. To do so, or to ask us to delete your details, email grandplasteringltd@gmail.com or phone 021 0267 5287. If you're not happy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
