A plaster finish is only as good as what's underneath it. That's why Grand Plastering runs its own specialist fixing crew rather than relying on someone else's work. Cavity battens, backing boards and panels are fixed to the system specification, so when our plasterers arrive the substrate is exactly as it should be.

Cladding & Panel Fixing questions

Why does it matter who fixes the cladding?

Panel spacing, fixings, control joints and flashings all affect whether the plaster cracks or lets water in later. When the same team fixes and plasters, the substrate is prepared for the finish it's going to get, and there's no arguing over whose fault a problem is.

Do you fix cladding for other plasterers?

Our fixing crew is set up to work with our own plasterers so we can guarantee the whole wall. Get in touch and we'll talk about what you need.

Can you work to a builder's programme on multi-unit developments?

Yes. That's most of what we do. Give us the programme early and we'll fit the fixing and plastering stages around the other trades.
